What We Do...

We recruit highly skilled medical professionals to travel to developing countries for the purpose of delivering quality surgical care.  Most of our patients are children and often live in remote villages.

We manage the missions in a cost effective manner, stretching your dollars so that we are able to treat as many patients as possible.  Most of our supplies are donated by generous partners. We also do not have any paid employees or boards members, ensuring that your generous donations go directly to the patients and orphans.

We empower local medical professionals such as surgeons and nurses by offering providing training and education.  The medical professionals both observe and work hand in hand with our team, enabling them to be more self sufficient and will be a better resource for their community.

We are a resource for the local community by providing education through dental and preventive clinics and helping orphans through our Operation Backpack program.

Cleft palates are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. Many are not allowed to attend school or hold a job. They face difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache. The good news is every single child with a cleft can be helped with surgery. We help each child recover through carefully planned reconstructive surgery.

These children not only survive, but thrive to become productive members of their communities. After a short surgery we hand them back their future and they get a chance at a normal life they never thought possible.

Burn survivors have some of the most debilitating and life altering injuries, producing severe physical and emotional consequences Raised burn scars can severely limit a person’s ability to function and significantly affect the quality of life. Severe contractures from the scars can affect how a person move and take care of themselves. We were able to help a young woman in Ho Chi Minh City walk again after burn scars to the back of her legs left them so contracted that she was only able to get around by crawling or being carried by her aging mother. We have restored countless lives by allowing people to work again after providing surgery to their severely burned contracted hands and arms. We have also helped them to become more productive members of society by offering them the ability to give back and restoring their self worth and self esteem.
